Mrs Livingstone

Inclusion Lead Teacher

My name is Mrs Livingstone.

I have been a teacher for 11 years and I have worked in many different schools, teaching children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I have even been lucky enough to work in and visit schools in Spain and Zambia.

I have been at Gladstone Road for 6 years now and I absolutely love being a part of our team. It is a fantastic place to be because of all our enthusiastic and caring children and staff who are always striving to do their very best! I also feel incredibly privileged to be a year 6 teacher; I see all of our children grow in confidence, maturity and knowledge ready for their next adventure, plus we all get to visit London, which is the most fabulous trip I have ever taken a group of children on.

One of my favourite parts of my job is having the opportunity to visit lots of different classes across school to see how much our children enjoy maths! I have trained with the Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub to become a Professional Development Lead in Maths, so I work alongside the maths team to provide opportunities for our whole school team to develop our fantastic maths curriculum. As a math lead, I also enjoy organising opportunities for our parents to enjoy maths too. During our last ‘Maths Month’ we held a triangle festival in school. It was lovely to see all of our families enjoying maths together.

I am also a qualified SENCo. I use all of my knowledge from previously working as a SENCo to support the children I teach.

I am very proud to be a part of our team and community and I love nothing more them helping our children achieve their potential.
