Hello I’m Miss Dring. I started my teaching journey at Gladstone Road Primary School as a HLTA in September 2020 and instantly fell in love with the school and the amazing opportunities available for our children. I’m excited to be moving into my role as class teacher for 1B and cannot wait to continue working within the huge family that is Gladstone Road.

I love teaching but have not always worked in schools. I spent three years working as a seamstress after completing a first-class degree working in film and theatrical costume. After spending time working on a handful of Disney films, it is safe to say I love being creative! I love teaching art and design and encourage all opportunities for children to be creative and express themselves.

I love reading and teaching phonics whilst sharing books with children. I spend a lot of my own time reading with my four-year-old son and exploring in the woods (often looking for Gruffalos!).
