Miss Chapman
Class Teacher
My name is Miss Chapman and I am extremely excited to be teaching in Year 3 at Gladstone Road Primary School. I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with lots of learning and new adventures that we can share together. I can’t wait to meet you all and get to know you but first I will tell you a little about me.
I am from Beverley in East Yorkshire. I decided to become a teacher whilst traveling around different countries. I spent time in South-East Asia where I volunteered at a school teaching children English in Cambodia. After this I learnt how to scuba dive and worked really hard to become a scuba diving instructor in Indonesia. I taught and explored the fascinating underwater world with many different people from all over the world.
I am looking forward to exploring the Year 3 curriculum together, I will look forward to lots of scientific investigations and developing our knowledge surrounding local history. My favourite subject to teach is Maths as I enjoy the different methods we can use to solve a mathematical problem and maths skills are skills we use in everyday life.
I believe we all learn something new everyday and can’t wait to see where our learning journey will take us through Year 3.
