Hello, I’m Mrs Duck, I’m the School Business Manager here at Gladstone Road Primary School.
I started working here in June 2021 but prior to this I worked in London for ten years in TV, Media and Film. My highlight was working on Paddington, and walking the red carpet! Many of the skills are the same, such as maximising budgets and managing multiple projects, but the children here are much more amiable than producers and directors! I moved up to Scarborough in 2016 with my young family to enjoy life on the coast and to be nearer to family.
On a regular day you will find me in the School office with the lovely ladies that keep the school running. I absolutely love working at Gladstone Road Primary School, the children, families and staff that work here are so passionate about the local community and supporting the children. No two days are ever the same!
