Miss Wright

Class Teacher

Hi, I’m Miss Wright.
Since becoming a teacher last year I have worked as a supply teacher in a range of schools, from small, rural schools, to larger schools like Gladstone Road. I have been at Gladstone Road since January now, supporting in 1G during lockdown and, more recently, teaching in 3G. I absolutely love the sense of community and warmth within the school and feel so proud to be part of the team. I am very passionate about children’s learning and their well-being and can’t wait to get to know all the pupils. I particularly enjoy teaching English and unlocking children’s creativity and imagination through reading and discussing different stories together.

I have always enjoyed working with children and before becoming a teacher I worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a Social, Emotional and Mental Health school. When I am not in school I love to read and spend time with friends and family. I absolutely love being outdoors in the local community and exploring new places with my family on bike rides or on foot. I love travelling and have travelled across Southeast Asia with my daughter. It was great experiencing new cultures, trying different foods and seeing the animals, especially the elephants!
