Miss Ingham

Class Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Ingham and I have been a teacher here at Gladstone Road Primary School since 2007. Initially, I was an Early Years PGCE student teacher here, who worked on a placement in Year 2. I fell in love with the school and never left! The years have flown by, I have absolutely loved working here and meeting all the amazing children I have taught over the years. I started as the teacher of Reception Blue and then I worked in Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4 and now I am ready to start my Year 5 journey- how exciting! I have been lucky enough to lead a range of subjects including Geography, PSHE and I led the EAL Team for a two years too which I found really interesting. I now work in the Design and Technology Team and love how this subject links to so many other exciting curriculum areas. It is so very important to me that my pupils feel happy, safe, enthusiastic, encouraged to try their best and reach their potential and that they feel supported and cared for in school. I strive to achieve this every day. Equally, as a parent myself, I understand how significant these primary years are for children, parents and carers and I am happy to support wherever I can to enable pupils to thrive and flourish. It has always been my dream to be a teacher ever since I can remember so coming to work is such a genuine pleasure for me.
