Miss Fardoe

Class Teacher

This year will be my forth year working as a teacher at Gladstone Road Primary School. I have worked at Gladstone Road much longer than three years… I actually joined the school for some work experience, a year after studying Media, Culture and Society at University. I then became a teaching assistant. Shortly afterwards, I knew I wanted to teach, so I applied for my PGCE and one of my placements was at Gladstone Road! I have been part of the school since 2014! Teaching primary school children is the best decision I have ever made. There is no feeling quite like seeing children in your class achieve their goals (no matter how big or small). The children’s smiles are enough to brighten any day! I am passionate about inclusive teaching and learning, I use my sign language qualifications to inspire other children to learn skills that help both themselves and others around them. In my spare time, I love to run, go for long walks and spend time with my family including my West Highland Terrier – Broxy
