Miss Ingham

Class Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Ingham and I have been a teacher here at Gladstone Road Primary School since 2007. Initially, I was an Early Years PGCE student teacher here, who worked on a placement in Year 2. I fell in love with the school and never left! The years have flown by, I have absolutely loved working here and meeting all the amazing children I have taught over the years. I started as the teacher of Reception Blue and then I worked in Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4 and now I am ready to start my Year 5 journey- how exciting! I have been lucky enough to lead a range of subjects including Geography, PSHE and I led the EAL Team for a two years too which I found really interesting. I now work in the Design and Technology Team and love how this subject links to so many other exciting curriculum areas. It is so very important to me that my pupils feel happy, safe, enthusiastic, encouraged to try their best and reach their potential and that they feel supported and cared for in school. I strive to achieve this every day. Equally, as a parent myself, I understand how significant these primary years are for children, parents and carers and I am happy to support wherever I can to enable pupils to thrive and flourish. It has always been my dream to be a teacher ever since I can remember so coming to work is such a genuine pleasure for me.

Class Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Glover, I am a teacher here at Gladstone Road Primary School. I qualified as teacher in 2009 and have worked in various settings before taking on a ks2 teacher role at Gladstone Road Primary School. I have worked here for quite some time now (since 2012) and I can honestly say that I have loved every minute of it! Gladstone Road is a school unlike any other I have been in, the atmosphere is always one of fun, laughter and support, both between colleagues and adults and pupils alike. This is my dream job as I love working with children and the children here at Gladstone Road are some of the sparkiest, funny and bright children I have met, they always manage to teach me something new and always keep me entertained. No two days are ever the same and each year always provides many highlights to look forward to. I always enjoy taking the children on school trips as this is a time when you get to see a different side of their personality and see them outside of the classroom setting. I also really enjoy September as this is a time for getting to know a whole new set of pupils, so exciting! What other job can give you the satisfaction of knowing you have helped a child to understand something new?
